Great video of the Caterpillar 70 scraper! Question: what is the cable spool that is mounted on the left side (from the video perspective) of the bowl support arms cross member used for? I've seen (on other UA-cam videos) these cable spools mounted on other old, cable operated scrapers, but I don't know what they're used for. Is the cable spool part of a cable operated mechanism for raising the bowl or apron, or for moving the ejector plate?
